Germanistin
H . H. legte die Matura 1952 ab und begann ihr Studium an der Universität in Wien, wo sie 1958 Assistentin am Germanistischen Institut wurde. 1969 war sie Dozentin für Deutsche Literaturgeschichte mit besonderer Berücksichtigung der Germanistischen Handschriftenkunde und Editionstechnik. 1973 wurde sie zur ao. Univ.- Prof. ernannt und Leiterin der Abteilung für Germanistische Handschriftenkunde. Ab 1981 war sie als o. Univ.- Prof. für Neuere deutsche Sprache und Literatur tätig und bis SS 2002 am Institut für Germanistik, Universität Wien, beschäftigt.
